Errors And Their Possible Resolutions

1. If your app is not opening or you get the Media Playback Aborted Error-

 

 

You must try the following possible resolutions: 

🔺 Update the app to its latest version.

🔺 Clear the cache memory of the device.

🔺 Delete the cache memory of the ALLEN Digital app in the application manager.

🔺 Check if you have an android version lower than 10.

🔺 Download Firefox (or any other browser).

🔺 If the lecture is not audible then allow audio access on mobile.

2. If you are experiencing any of the following Web Portal Errors-
  • The lecture not running or buffering
  • Voice issue
  • Material opening error

You must try the following possible resolutions:

🔺 Make sure to use good internet connectivity.

🔺 Update Google Chrome.

🔺 Clear the Google chrome history.

🔺 Update the Window version. Don’t use older windows versions like Windows 7/8.

🔺 Check if you’re using an assembled system with incompatible hardware configuration.

🔺 If the web portal does not open even after checking all possible aspects, then you should use Firefox (or other browsers) or incognito mode on your PC.

🔺 If the lecture is not audible then allow audio access on the desktop.

3. If you are getting an error in Material Downloading-

It would help if you tried the following possible resolutions:

🔺Reinstall the app & then download the material, a message will be displayed “Document has been saved locally”. The file saves in

▪️File Manager▪️ Download section or Document or Recent Download section.

🔺 Open google chrome on your mobile, select a desktop site in settings, and then follow the download process on mobile.

🔺 Kindly transfer your important data to an SD card and clear your device storage to make sufficient space available on your device.

4. If you are getting an error ‘Website Can’t Be Reached-

You must try the possible resolution as given below:

🔺 Use either of the 2 commands (Run as an Administrator In CMD)

1st – ipconfig /flushdns

OR

2nd – netsh winsock reset

5. If you are not able to install the ALLEN Digital App-

Resolution: Transfer your important data to an SD card and clear your device storage to make sufficient space available on your device.

6. Session expired for Live Classes-

It would help if you tried the following possible resolutions:

🔺Clear Cache, Browsing history, Cookies & Current logins

When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like Loading or Formatting issues on sites.

7. Error during the Live Classes-

During Live Class, if the class gets interrupted or disconnected due to any technical or internet issue, in such a situation,
It would help if you tried the following possible resolutions:

  • Log out and then log in again (log in after a few minutes).
  • If the video is blurred this may be due to the daily data limit being crossed, if not then check your internet connectivity (Wi-Fi, Router, etc.).
  • Maybe a device battery issue or low battery so turn off power saver mode (if enabled).
  • Delete the browser’s cookies or use another browser.
  • Wait for a few seconds if the video quality is fluctuating- this could be an internet fluctuation for a moment only.
  • Maybe a lower version of the device. (Kindly check on Technical Requirements Section).

If the issue still persists, then there may be a technical glitch from our side. Don’t panic, wait for some time. The issue will get resolved at the earliest. Recorded Videos of the respective Live Classes will be provided on the same day or the next day. So, try to utilize your time to watch or revise other subjects/topics meanwhile.

Do not waste your valuable study time by bothering about the issues.
